Position : Line Supervisor - CRD/2232
Location : Pune
Positions Available : Around 18 nos.
Qualifications : Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Science discipline.
Experience: Minimum one year experience in volume production / enclosure assemblies and two years of supervisory experience. Able to
manage a team of operators. Ability to do shift work

*Job Description :*

- Lead the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest
quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while
adhering to all safety requirements.
- Be a creative, enthusiastic, and proactive contributor to the workcell,
focusing on continuous improvement.
- Maximize product quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Line Manager and organize line workload and staffing
depending on product priority.
- Ensure work meets or exceeds company Workmanship standards and monitor
the SPC System closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems
immediately.
- Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned
changeovers.
- Minimize excess material on floor; ensure proper storage and
availability of operation supplies and equipment.
- Verify that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is
available on the line.
- Inform and instruct employees of any deviations or changes.
- Take immediate action on employee problems, concerns, and
recommendations.
- Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
- Maximize employee output, dedication, and job satisfaction.
- Develop, motivate, and challenge all line members to perform to their
full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
- Administer company's policies fairly and consistently, while remaining
flexible in Accommodation of deviations from policy depending on individual
circumstances.
- Ensure line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified, and are
performing their Assigned functions.
- Create a positive atmosphere, instill a sense of pride in product
workmanship and Appearances, celebrate accomplishments, and champion
improvement in all areas.
- Track production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
- Ensure the "White Board" is properly updated and maintained.
- Ensure WIP counts are accurate.
- Ensure labor transfer forms and production reporting forms are
accurate.
- Monitor product movement (both production and RMA) to ensure that daily
and weekly ship schedules are achieved.
- Maintain a daily attendance log for all line employees and escalate
attendance issues immediately to the Line Manager.
- Ensure control charts and checklists are properly filled out at the
required intervals.

General Requirement :

- Proficient and knowledgeable in high volume production and highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Prepared to work in shifts
- Fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English.
- Able to lead and manage a large team of production operators.

Preferable Industry Experience:

- SMT - CM or OEM
- Electro/Mechanical e.g. Box-build, Disk drive - CM or OEM
- Semiconductor - CM or OEM
