Duration: 3-6 month contract

Location: Minneapolis, MN

• Ability to lead PKI deployment
• Ability to lead application integration efforts
• Ability to move seamlessly between the big picture and the small details. 

PKI Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure,
including

• MS PKI application architecture

• Certificate template design, deployment and management
• MSCAPI and Microsoft operating system integration of certificates
• Microsoft Certificate Lifecycle Manager (or other certificate
  management tools)
• Supports MS PKI offline architecture
• Supports MS PKI online servers for maximum availability
• Creates and maintains PKI operational process and procedure in
  accordance with CP and CPS  
• Installs, upgrades, maintains and secures MS PKI servers and HSM
• Approves requests for certificate signatures
• Manages and maintains monthly renewal notification process and
  procedures  
• Responsible for integrity of PKI Infrastructure.
• Provides back up to other Cryptographic Management applications
  (HSM, RSA Key Manager and Protegrity)
• Provides certificate design expertise for consuming applications
• On call support responsibilities

Skills

·         Strong Windows server & application architecture

·         Strong Windows server installation, deployment & operational
support

·         Excellent process & procedure development; strong documentation
skills

·         Ability to organize, lead and manage complex PKI deployment and
integration activities

·         Microsoft Active Directory Expertise

·         Microsoft Certificate Lifecycle Manager (or other certificate
management tools)

·         Key Pair generation tools & certificate signature processes

·         Understands server clustering technologies

·         *.nix system administration skills

·         Understanding of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) - in particular

·         Luna SA HSM

·         Understanding of Applied Cryptography

·         Experience with data encryption deployments

·         Information Security expertise – CISSP
