QA tester

St. Louis  (MO)Duration:  4 months

Major Functions

" Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios for software applications
" Develop and maintain Test Automation software
" Provide analysis of Test Entry Points and Data Mappings between software applications
" Translate Requirements and analysis into Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios
" Maintain existing Test Plans
" Present newly developed Test Plans to the Test Team
" Participate in testing of all software releases

Qualifications

" Minimum three years experience in IT as a Programmer, Analyst, or Test Analyst
" Experience with IBM Rational Robot or Mercury Quick Test Pro required
" Experience with Databases (understanding and writing queries) required
" Prefer basic programming skills (logic skills, library use)
" Prefer experience in testing of large multi-application systems
" Prefer experience with Requirements Documents and Test Case development
" Experience with IBM Req Pro/Test Manager or Mercury Quality Center a plus
" Experience with Visual Basic a plus
