Client is seeking a Senior SAP CRM ABAP Developer to support Sales Operations, Sales & Marketing areas. Candidate should have at least 7 years SAP CRM ABAP experience and should be experienced in development of partner channel management, marketing, service (iBase, contracts), trade promotion management, etc. Candidate must be experienced with enterprise portal (PCUI), EEW, CRM Middleware, and interfaces. Candidate with experience in iDocs and XI is preferred. Candidate must be experienced with R/3 and BI environments and interfacing those systems with CRM. The candidate should provide functional, technical, and organizational leadership in addition to performing enhancements/fixes required for projects and to support daily operations in the SAP production environment.

Job Description :

SAP ABAP Developer specializing in SAP CRM. I need this person to have at least 8 years of experience and potentially be at the Architect/Team Lead level with CRM projects (NOT SD, MM, LE, etc.) with a desire to continue hands-on programming. Communication skills must be impeccable. Most of the candidates I receive are not communicating at the levels that our client requires (9 or 10 out of 10). To gauge these skills I normally ask them a question that has nothing to do with IT: If I get a response like: "I don't get you, or "could you please repeat that", or get a response that has nothing to do with what I have asked I will pass on them. Candidates that demonstrate that they have memorized responses will be passed on as well.
The developer should have experience with CRM front end (PCUI or Web UI), Enterprise Portal (EP), Middleware, and the other skills listed below.

Experience :

Reviewing user requirements
Developing functional and technical design documents including business process flows, mapping documents and design specifications
Creating and managing development plans
Developing SAP CRM for required functionality
Conducting and coordinating unit and string testing of customizations and ABAP developments
Working closely with SAP users, project managers, and testing teams.
Sharing functional/technical knowledge with client
Providing strategic guidance for proper and effective use and support of SAP CRM based on business / IT roadmaps

Education :

Top-notch communication skills and strong sales/sales operations knowledge are required
Candidates must be customer-focused and have demonstrated strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, and organizational/planning skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also essential
