We have a requirement for BUSINESS ANALYST / GLOBAL IT HELP DESK APPLICATION

Our client in Northwest Ohio (Toledo area) is in need of a Business Analyst (BA) focusing on Global IT Help Desk Applications. It is a 3 month assignment.

Description
The BA will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for new business processes, changes to business processes, policies and information systems. The BA understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. BA will need to describe/define/document what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirement(s).

Responsibilities

• Visio flow charting required
• MS Technology environment

- ASPX/.Net
- BizTalk
- Black Pearl Workflow
- K2 2003 Workflow
- SharePoint 2007

• Meet with all business owners to understand and document current process along with understanding and documenting future automated process
• Identify and document all roles within process
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the project objectives
• Identify and resolve issues
• Manage the risks
• Facilitate with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
• Facilitate with various business units to gather requirements and resolve issues
• Improve business processes
• Gather and define business requirements
• Analyze and map processes (current state/future state)
• Analyze data
• Produce high quality documentation
• Report status and issues to the Project Manager(s)
• Contribute to enterprise architecture development from a business needs point of view
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to be lead for discovery meeting with client users
• Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously
