Requirement for EDI analyst - ATLANTA

This candidate will be the primary business analyst to for rolling out existing EDI transactions to new vendors and to create new EDI transactions. The person should be self motivated individual with a high drive to achieve and get results from themselves and the teams with which they work. The person will be responsible for providing functional/technical expertise.
This person will partner with key business users to understand their business and challenges and then make recommendations on how the Oracle system can be leveraged to resolve their issues or provide new capabilities.

The position will require sound understanding of EDI Gateway, PO, AP, and PL/SQL knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities: .

• Effectively coordinate with the various teams (Business, External systems, Production Support, DBAs, Developers).
• Work with users to define business requirements
• Lead projects as business analyst and provide solutions to the technical team
• Develop functional specifications of changes, enhancements, interfaces
• Facilitate review of functional specifications across all appropriate parties (Business, IT Development, etc)
• Develop test cases and perform testing
• Facilitate Production migrations . Resolve tickets assigned to finance queue .
• Recommend changes to the custom interfaces and programs
• Generate weekly status report
• Good team player
• Provide Production support as need during month end cycle
• Thorough understanding of AIM and SDLC processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Help business and functional team in conducting test during new deployment
